Is Sponjour safe?
Straight answers to the questions clubs and sponsors ask most often.
Is Sponjour free for clubs?
Yes. Clubs pay no subscription and no setup fee. A small platform fee (3% on sponsorship today) is added to what the sponsor pays at checkout, so the club receives the full amount it asked for.
Where does the sponsorship money go?
Straight to the club's own Stripe account. We never hold the funds, we never take them out, and we never pool them with other clubs' money. The club controls its own payout schedule.
Do clubs have to sign a contract?
No. Clubs can leave whenever they want, with no notice period and no cancellation fee. All sponsor records and deal history can be exported before leaving.
Who owns the club's data?
The club. Sponsor contacts, deal history, payment records and pitch assets belong to the club. We don't sell data, and we don't market to sponsors on a club's behalf.
Is the payment processing secure?
Yes. Card payments are processed by Stripe, the same payments company used by millions of businesses. Stripe handles card security, compliance and payment records.
What does a sponsor get after paying?
An invoice and a paid receipt are generated automatically. The sponsor also gets a clear record of what they sponsored, when it renews, and how to contact the club.
What happens if a club doesn't deliver what was promised?
The sponsorship agreement is between the club and the sponsor. If something isn't delivered, contact the club directly. Sponjour keeps the records and can help pass messages along, but the club is the merchant of record.
Can a sponsor get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the club through its own Stripe account. If you need a refund, contact the club first. The club can process it directly, just like any other Stripe payment.
What information does a club see about a sponsor?
Only what's needed to run the sponsorship: name, email, business name and billing address for the invoice, plus any phone number or notes the sponsor chooses to add.
